The Fire Horse

Hold on to what is good and discard anything that is non-essential. Keep learning, be honest with yourself, change what you can, but change only a little at a time. It is never easy, but with courage, determination, and resilience, it will happen!! :)  Every step builds strength. 

Rejoice, gong xi gong xi! The year of the Fire Horse brings us new hope and opportunities, to do what we desire and reach our goals. What you want, you can achieve. 

Sit and stay quiet, breathe, and calm the mind… let go of distractions. Let go of yesterday. Today is a new day, a day to start again and to recalibrate--not unlike a yearly tune-up for your car. One must empty the cup before refilling it with fresh tea.  

Be flexible, both in mind and body, so you can maneuver around obstacles. Take your time, be like water, yield and flow gently, smoothly.  

You don’t need to rush just because others are moving fast. It is your journey, live it at your own pace. 

I have seen better days, and I have been through worse days, but I am here today. That means that I was resilient and able to overcome my difficulties. 

To be happy, we must let go of what has passed, be grateful for what remains, and look forward to what is coming next. 

It is normal to face difficulties and challenges, but we find our courage and carry on. Don’t give up too easily.  

So, settle firmly into the saddle, grab hold of the reins and keep your eyes wide open, for there may yet be more obstacles ahead.
